The Brief
Reimagining the interior of this small-scale studio apartment, measuring a total of 35 sqm. was no easy task. Comprising a small bathroom, and separate space for sleeping, cooking and relaxing, imaginative planning and careful precision was essential to turn what was once an unworkable studio into a coherent living space with separate divisions. Working within a limited space, it was important to celebrate the clients’ interests and personality; as academics, this involved incorporating their impressive collection of books through the installation of a gallery wall.
